The Fileni Group has always been committed to ensuring the highest levels of animal welfare for its animals and minimising impacts on the areas in which it operates.
The Group invests significant resources to equip each barn with optimal solutions and technology to guarantee a healthy environment. Each farm is usually made up of multiple sheltered structures, and — depending on health regulations — in the same farm different groups of poultry may have different ages and requirements, and therefore different capture periods.
We are committed to not using antibiotics during any phase of farming and feeding our animals in the best possible way.
We have signed up to the European Chicken Commitment (ECC), as part of our mission to become the best supply chain in Europe for animal welfare. As a further commitment in pursuit of an ethical and sustainable corporate model, in 2022 we became the first B Corp company in the world in our sector.
